The current Cadillac Escalade luxury SUV model was presented in the summer of last year, and it is, we can freely say still a brand new model. On the other hand, the company has also used the presentation of this model, to announce the plans regarding the addition of some new features that are going to be seen in the upcoming time, and only 1 year after that presentation, Cadillac is planning on releasing the refreshed model. The new 2016 Cadillac Escalade will come with new exterior colors and couple interior features. The new model will be slightly redesigned and it will offer the same engine choices as the current model.
As far as the exterior is concerned, the new Cadillac Escalade 2016 will pretty much be the same as the current model; the visible changes will impact the sport model’s front bumper, where a new redesigned one will be placed, and also the exhaust system, which will be upgraded as well. Everything else will remain pretty much the same. There are ten color options available: Gray Silk Metallic, Crystal White Tricoat, Red Passion Tintcoat, Dark Emerald Metallic (late introduction), Radiant Silver Metallic, Majestic Plum Metallic, Silver Coast Metallic, Black Raven, Terra Mocha Metallic and Dark Granite Metallic.
Redesign
Regarding the interior, the inside of the vehicle will stay almost the same, and the base model will be equipped with pretty much everything you will need, and more, from a modern luxury SUV car. You will find 5 extremely comfortable seats, leather upholstery, infotainment system with 4 screens and a surround sound system, satellite navigation, internet access, and USB and wireless connectivity. The 2016 Cadillac Escalade V-Sport model will feature all mentioned, plus the optional premium cloth upholstery, red contrast stitching and a redesigned steering wheel with various commands. For 2016 it comes with Lane Keep Assist function and Enhanced CUE features, including Apple CarPlay capability.
