2016 Mercedes A45 AMG price, specs, news – The Mercedes Company is preparing a small facelift for the A-class, and the first one to receive a high performance tune up, is the A45 AMG. While the model was recently outranked by the Audi RS3 Sportback, which is equipped with a turbocharged 2.5-liter 5-cylinder engine that is capable of delivering 367 hp and 342 lb-ft of torque, the people from Mercedes-AMG have recently confirmed the face-lifted the new Mercedes A45 AMG 2016 will once again be the most powerful, and it will be unveiled this fall.

Having in mind that current A45 AMG already has excellent proportions and sporty styling, the future buyers should not expect any major aesthetic changes for the refreshed A45 model. If some earlier unofficial predictions are true, the 2016 Mercedes A45 AMG engine will be able to pump out around 380 hp, and it will come equipped with a 7-speed AMG SPEED SHIFT transmission. With an aim to improve performance and fuel economy, the makers have found some solutions that allow this car to get rid of some extra weight, compared to the current model.

We expect that the new Mercedes A45 AMG 2016 will be presented later this year, probably at the 2015 Frankfurt Auto Show in September, or next year in Geneva. The price of new 2016 Mercedes A45 AMG is expected to be around $60,000 while its release date should be sometime in 2016.
