Chevrolet has been one of the most popular producers on SUV market for the last few years. Their offer range is relatively huge and some of the famous representatives are Traverse, Equinox and, of course, Trailblazer. Three years ago at Bangkok Auto Show we could see Trailblazer for the first time. It has made great success since then, especially in Thailand, the Philippines, Brazil and South Africa. This stunning seven-passenger SUV continue to be upgraded year by year and the new Chevy Trailblazer 2016 will surely be the most intriguing ever since Chevrolet releases Trailblazer on the market. Europeans will probably have to put a lot of effort in getting this car because it was not planned to be released on the European market.
2016 Chevy Trailblazer redesign
If you had expected some big refreshments, you would have been disappointed. New Chevy Trailblazer 2016 has several design improvements but changes are subtle. Nonetheless, it still looks much more sophisticated than the most of the SUVs in this category. It will features LED daytime running lights, leveling system control for headlights, LED taillights, while higher trim levels will also include roof rails, rear spoiler, rear bumper sill moulding and lower door chrome moulding. Inside the cabin there are seven seats distributed in three rows. In spite of that it is still very spacious for every passenger. Some of the expected features for base model are parking-sensor system, improved navigation system and infotainment system. When it comes to safety the 2016 Chevy Trailblazer will be standard ABS and airbags while higher models will come with hill descent control, traction control, hill start assist, panic brake assist, ESP and corner break control.
Chevy Trailblazer 2016 specs
Allegedly, the new Chevy Trailblazer 2016 will be offered in two different variants – with petrol and diesel engines. As a previous version, 2016 Trailblazer will probably use same engine. The 6.0-liter eight-cylinder will power this seven passenger SUV, developing decent 345 horsepower. Also, all-wheel-drive and rear-wheel-drive system are up to driver to choose. However, there is no any information about transmission system but it is the most likely it will be the same as in 2015 model. That means that it will be available with 6-speed automatic transmission with Active Select. One more uncertain thing is where this car is going to be produced. General Motors hasn’t announced yet whether it will probably be made in Thailand or US or in some other country.

The most likely is that the new Chevy Trailblazer 2016 will probably hit the market next year, most likely in the first half. When you search the Web you will easily see there are no estimations about the price range. Our expectations are that 2016 Chevy Trailblazer price won’t differ too much from the 2015 model and its competition.
