2016 Porsche Boxster Spyder review, specs, price

Even though 2015 year models are currently still offered in the dealers, the 2016 Porsche Boxster is soon coming. There basically won’t be any changes in its design or performance alike, but lineup will be expanded by returning Spyder models. The new Porsche Boxster 2016 slowly, but steadily marches towards a generation shift, but let us enjoy its current state which is very good, especially design and performance-wise. Even better, there are now Spyder models to spice things up with their unique styling and top notch performance.

2016 Porsche Boxster review

What’s there to say about it visually? Most of Porsches look alike, and new Porsche Boxster 2016 is none the wiser. Egg-shaped singular headlamps, low nose, flared fenders, air intake before the rear wheels and low rear end with small spoiler are the features which could easily describe any other German maker’s car.

Interior is basically the same in all available models, at least when it comes to cabin design. However, materials and color options differ. All models get sport seats, but GTS and Spyder get the upgraded versions of them. Leather upholstery was never doubted, but Spyder model, for instance, gets leather/suede combination in dark gray/red colorway. One of the best-looking options is all-red cabin with aluminum accents which really takes the breath away. As a true exotic car, the new Porsche Boxster 2016 comes with plethora of tech features which span from 7-inch touch screen display to advanced electronic safety systems like front and rear parking sensors.
