For those customers that need more than a full-size SUV, the Ford’s Expedition comes as a perfect solution. This full-size, truck-based, SUV comes with comfortable 8 seats in 3 spacious rows, offers a variety of standard features, tows up to 9,200 lbs, and is available with a turbocharged V6 engine. The previous model received a major overhaul so the new 2016 Ford Expedition will not get any drastic changes. The new model again comes as a body on frame type of construction, with an independent suspension, providing better on-road performance than most of its rivals.

As for the exterior design of the new 2016 Ford Expedition, it will mostly come unchanged when compared to the previous model. In fact, it will be almost identical, with the exception of the lower trim levels being offered with 18 or 20-inch alloy wheels, a roof rack, and step running boards on the outside.

When it comes to the interior, the customers will get cloth upholstery, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, full power accessories, heated power-adjustable front seats, heated back seats, and cruise control and. Furthermore, the standard features will also include a back view camera, front and back parking sensors, power-folding exterior mirrors, air conditioning, and SYNC/MyFord Touch infotainment system with smartphone apps. As for the trim level equipment list, the lower trims offer: a 6-speaker CD player with, satellite radio, and auxiliary audio input, while the higher-end levels come with a 12-speaker Sony premium stereo and HD radio. Just like before, the lower trims can be bought with optional equipment that is offered as standard in higher levels. These options include a remote ignition, a pair of second-row captain’s chairs, load-leveling suspension with adaptive dampers, bigger and better wheels, as well as the back-seat video entertainment.
