Even now there are many unknown information about Accent’s characteristics but everything released so far is enough to make decent review. According to the first pictures designers at Hyundai decided to give some refreshments to front fascia and rear part. Apparently, they based transformations on 2015 Sonata. Outlook is modernized and in our opinion it looks more appealing than before. As you can see on the photos it looks more aggressive with front refreshments. There are more angles and LED technology is used more than before. Rear end has been also transformed but those changes are quite subtle. Aerodynamic look you can find on the Turbo model of Accent. Inside, convenience was brought to a higher level. New materials are used, enabling passengers to enjoy the ride more. 2016 Hyundai Accent will have standard options and so far there are no any indications something will be upgraded.
Hyundai Accent 2016 specs
Engine will be slightly improved as well as the outlook. Standard engine is well-known 1.6 liter four-cylinder with fuel injection. Power is not staggering but you cannot expect this car to be able to produce more than 150 horsepower. In fact, the new 2016 Hyundai Accent will go up to 138 horsepower and 123 pound-feet of torque. Definitely new option is front-wheel drive which we could not see before in previous models. With low fuel consumption it is one of the most efficient cars in its category. 28 mpg on the highway and 37 mpg in the city are figures all car producers should look up to. It is also important to announce that new 2016 Accent will have two transmission options: six-speed automatic and six-speed manual.
2016 Hyundai Accent release date and price
Even though there are still many unknown features, price and release date of the new Hyundai Accent 2016 are not among them. Price for the basic model will between $16,000 and $17,000. However, there are no price estimations for other models. Hyundai announced new 2016 Accent will hit the market in the last three months of 2015, probably before Geneva Car Show.
